Dear Parents and Guardians,
You may have seen recent news regarding the Michigan state budget and the uncertainty around funding for universal free school meals.
We want to assure you that this will not impact our district. All of our schools will continue to provide free breakfast and lunch to all students, district-wide, for the 2025–2026 school year.

At this time, our soft lockdown has been lifted, and normal operations have resumed. Dearborn Heights Police have given us the all-clear. Thank you for your understanding and support.

Good Day Crestwood Community. At this time, all Crestwood schools are in a soft lockdown, which means that no visitors will be allowed in the schools and students must remain in the school. This is a request from the Dearborn Heights Police. None of our schools or students are in danger and the matter is not related to our schools. We will update the community as more information becomes available.

Thank you to all of our Crestwood families who joined us for the 2025 Back-to-School Kickoff! Despite the rainy weather, the celebration was a tremendous success as we gathered inside Crestwood High School for an evening filled with pride. Families enjoyed free backpacks, books, and activities, while students had a blast with bounce houses, crafts, balloon animals, and more.
Live performances from the Crestwood Band, Robotics, and our DJ brought great energy, and Chargie the Mascot kept the excitement high! We even had a surprise visit from Scout, our therapy dog and our Dearborn Heights Police Department! With delicious food trucks and the chance to connect with community partners, it was the perfect way to launch the 2025–2026 school year.
Thank you to all of our Parent Organizations for sponsoring the bounce houses and United Way-Southeast Michigan and Cummins Inc in Dearborn for the backpack donations. We also could not have done without the support of our National Honor Society students and custodial and maintenance staff. We are so proud of our community spirit and thankful for everyone who came out to celebrate. Here’s to a fantastic school year ahead!

Crestwood Girls pull out the victory tonight in the MHSAA District 21 Semifinals. The Chargers move on to the finals vs Wayne Memorial High School this Friday March 7th at Crestwood tip off 7pm! Come out and support your Lady Chargers! Tickets are for sale now on GoFan.

Crestwood Chargers Boys Basketball will face Wayne Memorial HS Tonight at host John Glenn HS in the MHSAA District Finals. Tickets are for sale now on GoFAN. Come out and support the boys as they compete for the District Championship!

Crestwood Athletic Director Jeff Hachigian presents Coach Katie DelGiudice with a plaque to celebrate her 100th career Girls Varsity Basketball win before the match up against Dearborn High School. The Chargers Girls then beat Dearborn in hard fought game moving them to 19-2 on the season. They will play their final regular season game on Thursday 2/27 on Senior Night vs St. Catherine's Academy. Hope to see you there! Game time 7pm!

Congratulations to the Crestwood Boys Varsity Swim Team!!! They completed the WWAC season as undefeated Champions! Great work from Head Coach Brandon Figueroa and Assistant Coach Noor Elhajj. The boys amazing season ended last Friday as they claimed the WWAC tournament championship as well at Crestwood HIgh School! Go Chargers!

Congratulations to the girls basketball team who completed an undefeated league championship season with a 55-47 win at Thurston. A special shout out to Coach Katie DelGiudice who won her 100th varsity game tonight. Next Game is Friday 2/21 at home vs Livonia Churchill

Congratulations to Crestwood Chargers Wrestling! Three wrestlers earned their chance to compete at For Field for the Individual State Championships! Big Congratulations to Head Coach Aboudi Beydoun on being recognized as The Michigan Wrestling Association Regional Coach of the Year! Well Deserved accomplishment for Coach and his staff.
