Melissa Kobeissi has been selected to serve as the new principal of Kinloch Elementary School. She brings extensive experience in education and school leadership, along with a deep commitment to creating environments where all students feel safe, supported, and engaged in meaningful learning.
Mrs. Kobeissi most recently served as Assistant Principal at Riverside Middle School. Prior to that, she was an Assistant Principal in Dearborn Public Schools, where she also spent 10 years as an educator. During her time in the classroom, she taught for six years before serving as a Title I Resource Teacher for four years, supporting students’ academic growth through individualized instruction and family collaboration.
Throughout her career, Mrs. Kobeissi has been dedicated to fostering positive school cultures built on respect, inclusivity, and high expectations for all learners. She is eager to continue this work at Kinloch Elementary and looks forward to partnering with students, staff, and families to ensure every child reaches their fullest potential.
