Good news! Mother Nature looks like she is cooperating, so we will be moving forward with our original plans for an outdoor Kindergarten Picnic this afternoon. Thank you for your flexibility as we monitored the weather, and we can't wait to enjoy this special event together!

Rain, Rain, Go Away!!
Kindergarten Families---

We are closely monitoring the weather forecast for tomorrow. If rain is expected, we may need to move our Kindergarten Moving Up Ceremony indoors to the gym. A final decision will be made tomorrow morning, and we will communicate any changes as soon as possible.

If the rain continues into the afternoon, the Kindergarten Picnic will also be moved indoors. In that case, food will be set up in the gym, and parents will be able to pick up their food there and enjoy the picnic with their child in the classroom.

If we need to move indoors, attendance will be limited to two guests per student to ensure we have space for all.

Thank you for your flexibility and understanding as we work to make this a special day for our kindergarten students while keeping everyone safe and comfortable. We are hopeful that the weather cooperates and that we can celebrate outdoors as planned!

The 2026 Crestwood School District Art Show will be on Thursday, May 14th from 5:30–7:00 PM at Riverside Middle School. Featuring student artwork from across the district, this event is open to all families and community members. We hope to see you there!
