For those dropping their child off in car-line today, please be mindful in the parking lot and assist your child as needed when coming down from the vehicle. It's very cold, so staff will be stationed near the front doors waiting for your student! Thank you for your cooperation.

On Martin Luther King Jr. Day (January 19th), we remember Dr. King and his message of kindness, fairness, and helping others. At school, we talk with students about treating everyone with respect, using our voices for good, and making our community a better place—just as Dr. King encouraged.

This is just a reminder that Report cards are available in the Parent Connect Portal. To access, please open the app, or website, click on “Standards/Marks”, and scroll down to see Quarter 2 grades. There is a heading that says “Report Card” that you will need to click on to access the Report Card. The website is https://www.csdmi.org/ and it is the fourth icon at the bottom of the screen labeled “Student/Parent Connect”.
If you do not have access to the Parent Portal- please contact our office to request a PIN/Password so you are able to create an account and log in.

The countdown is on—winter break is here! 🎉 As we wrap up the year, our school has been filled with learning, laughter, and lots of holiday excitement (and maybe a little extra wiggle energy, too!).
We hope your break is packed with joy, cozy moments, fun traditions, and plenty of smiles. Whether you’re traveling, celebrating, or enjoying quiet days at home, we wish you a season full of happiness and a New Year filled with health, success, and new adventures.

We are noticing an increase in cars stopping or parking along the street during this time, and it is creating a serious safety concern for our students. When cars are parked along Kinloch Street, visibility becomes limited, students have a harder time crossing safely, and traffic flow is disrupted.
For the safety of all children, we ask that families use the designated pick-up areas and follow the established dismissal procedures. Your cooperation helps us maintain a safe and efficient environment for everyone.
Thank you for your attention to this important safety matter and for supporting a smooth dismissal process.
