Our elementary schools welcomed special guest readers throughout March in celebration of Reading Month! We are grateful to all of our guest readers for helping spark a love of reading in our students. Let’s keep that momentum going by encouraging reading at home all year long!

Hillcrest Spotlight: Hillcrest Literacy Night was a wonderful success, bringing families together to celebrate the joy of reading and learning! A huge shout-out to Veronica Greenlaw, Reading Interventionist, and the entire Literacy Team for their hard work and dedication in making this event so impactful.

Our three elementary schools came together to host a successful “Preparing for M-STEP” parent night, supporting families of 3rd and 4th grade students with helpful strategies and guidance. A huge thank you to our dedicated staff for their teamwork and commitment to student success. It was great to see such strong family turnout and collaboration across our district!

TOMORROW! Crestwood School District is partnering with the Michigan State Police VIP Program to host a free fingerprinting event on March 17 from 9:00 AM–5:00 PM for students and community members with special needs (age 2 and up). This program helps law enforcement quickly identify individuals if they become lost.
