Crestwood School District is excited to share that Phase 1 of the district bond work remains on schedule for completion in August 2026. This phase, focused on our elementary schools, will be completed in just one year and includes classroom and cafeteria improvements, parking lot and playground upgrades, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and site work renovations.

At Kinloch, Highview, and Hillcrest, all exterior work has been completed, and interior work remains on track for completion before the start of the 2026–2027 school year. In addition, each elementary school will feature a fully functioning kitchen where food will be prepared on site.

We are delighted to announce that 5th grade students will remain at the elementary schools for the 2026–2027 school year. Tentative grand opening celebrations are planned for the week of August 17, 2026, and the entire community will be invited to tour and celebrate the new elementary updates.

Phase 2 of the bond program will focus on Riverside Middle School, Crestwood High School, Crestwood Early Childhood Center parking lot, and Transportation/Warehouse roof.

At Crestwood High School, Phase 2-Part 1 will begin in June 2026 and includes the baseball and softball fields, practice turf field, and a redesigned parent drop-off loop. The new traffic flow will move parent vehicles off Beech Daly by routing traffic around the back of the building. Phase 2-Part 2 will begin in June 2027 and includes classroom additions, a new field house addition, theatre updates, vestibule and office renovations, parking lot and site improvements, and HVAC and air conditioning upgrades. Air conditioning is expected to be completed by Spring 2029.

At Riverside Middle School, Phase 2-Part 1 will begin in June 2026 and includes a new elevator, CTE wing, turf field, theatre updates, parking lot improvements, cafeteria expansion, security vestibule upgrades, and life skills classroom improvements. Riverside will also feature a new CTE Center offering programs in Robotics, AI/Computer Programming, Aviation/Aeronautics, and Media Production. Phase 2-Part 2 will begin in June 2027 and includes HVAC and air conditioning upgrades, trades improvements, and complete site work.

Additional summer 2026 projects include parking lot and playground improvements at the Crestwood Early Childhood Center and Central Office, along with a new roof and parking lot improvements at the Transportation/Warehouse Building.
