What happens when you give kindergarteners high expectations and meaningful learning experiences? Danielle Fleming and her students at Kinloch Elementary showed us this year. Through an informational writing unit on ocean animals that culminated in a Talking Zoo celebration, her young learners became confident researchers, writers, and public speakers. Their growth is a powerful reminder that purposeful instruction unlocks potential at every grade level.

This is the kind of engagement that builds both strong learners and connected communities.
